Privacy information

How BADB handles account, preference, analytics, attribution, security and contact information. Last updated: 14 August 2026

Information used by the service

Account features use the email and authentication data you provide. Public browsing may create ordinary server and CDN security/access logs. Explicit settings such as theme, country and a local favourites shortlist stay in your browser as described on the Cookies page.

The public football product does not require registration.

Measurement

Google Analytics operates on public pages. The visible BADB Cookie settings control applies only to the project-owned social attribution described below; it does not represent or transmit a Google Analytics or advertising consent decision. Rejecting BADB measurement leaves public football pages available.

Owned-social attribution uses a random token stored in hashed form and is retained for 42 days. It measures page views, engagement and aggregate registration/favourite outcomes for BADB posts; it does not store the raw token in the database.

Advertising verification and consent

BADB loads the operator-supplied Google AdSense publisher code on public pages so Google can verify the site. That loader can contact Google and Google may process browser, device and request information under its own policies. No BADB ad units or Auto Ads are enabled in this release.

Before serving Google ads to users in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, BADB will configure a Google-certified consent management platform separately from BADB Cookie settings. The project-owned Allow or Reject choice is not used as advertising consent.

Service providers and external links

BADB uses hosting, content-delivery, security, analytics and site-verification services to operate the site. BADB does not use its first-party Cookie settings to configure or clear Google identifiers. X and Telegram receive data under their own policies only when you choose to follow an external link.

Purpose-specific BADB email addresses are listed on the Contact page. They are inbound contact routes; a reply may come from a different verified BADB address.

Retention and your choices

Browser-storage durations are listed on the Cookies page. Operational log retention and formal controller disclosures are still being inventoried and are not guessed here.

Use Cookie settings to change BADB-owned social attribution. For a privacy, access, correction or deletion question, use the Contact page. Applicable mandatory rights are not limited by this information.

Your privacy choices

Optional BADB measurement

Choose whether BADB may keep its own attribution for visits from official social posts. The site works when you reject it.
